Beauty in Black was born from my reflection on strength, dignity and the kind of beauty that does not need to ask for attention.

I wanted to create an image that felt powerful, but not aggressive. Calm, but not passive.

The black horse became a symbol of inner strength — something deep, restrained and self-contained.

The gold appeared as a contrast to the darkness. For me, it represents value, light, experience and the precious part of a person that remains visible even after difficult periods.

I have always believed that true beauty is not about perfection. It is about presence. About character. About the ability to remain yourself.

That is what this painting means to me.

The work was created in 2022 in acrylic on canvas and exists as a single original piece.

In 2023, Beauty in Black received 2nd Place in the Painting category at an international art competition in London.
